Two well-known Kennedys are appearing at the 2006 Edinburgh Festival. Author A.L. Kennedy, a fellow resident of Glasgow's West End, is doing a stand-up comic routine 'Feel the Love' at the Stand Comedy Club which has received much coverage, including an review on BBC Radio 4 August 12th and featuring in the 'Myweek' column in the Daily Telegraph the same day. The author, whose full name is Alison Louise Kennedy, has her own web site.

The other Kennedy making an appearance is tenor Andrew Kennedy. Andrew appeared in the Cardiff Singer of the World contest in 2005 but didn't win. At Edinburgh he is doing an evening of Benjamin Britten, a set of song settings of Robert Burns which I will be attending and writing a review of, and an evening of Jabobean songs. He is managed by Intermusica who provide this biography of him.
